Hearing When You Leave -- Maps
I spent the last couple of days at the American Library Association's get together, talking with librarians and generally having a good time (librarians are more fun than you may suspect), and the experience suggested this week's Photo Shoot:
Your Monday Photo Shoot: Get a picture of a crowd or crowded event. Conventions, weddings, parties in cramped spaces -- you know, anywhere there's lots of folks doing something.

Mine is the show floor at the ALA. What happens here is that hundreds of book companies, distributors, furniture makers and computer hardware and software companies display a whole bunch of stuff, in order to convince librarians to go back and order their books/software/kid-sized chairs/whatever. There are about 21,000 librarians at this thing, and at least a couple thousand salespeople, publicists and featured talent (like, uh, me), and at any one time, there's a significant portion of them here on the show floor. So it makes for a fairly busy time. Also, it's one of the most educated and well-read large crowds you could ever hope to be in. I can't help but think that's a good thing.
You're up: Get a picture of large crowded (or a small crowd in a very crowded space), post it on your blog or journal, and then come back here to leave a link! Be sure to let us know why there's a crowd at all -- we like our crowds to have a reason to be there.

This is my first, and I'm terribly late, but it's my Monday photo shoot of a crowded place. Sad, sad, sad . . .
