Some Flowers For You

Because I thought you might enjoy them, that's why.

Why yes, I was having fun with Photoshop. Why do you ask? The flowers, incidentally, are some that are growing in the corn field next to my house. Very pretty among the ears of corn.

Morning Glory's My favorite vine.  Actually, the first tiime I planted them along the deck latice work sidewalls, they went crazy.  One morning they had jumped from the walls to the chair backs and table legs.  We were being invaded!!!  Still gorgeous though.

    Nancy:

Photoshop has a "Saturate" function that you can use to pump up color or pull it back, and it lets you separate out color families. So in these cases I drained out the greens, yellows and cyans, which makes the corn appear gray.

They are Morning Glories.  I have always loved them.  We had them as vines filling the yard when I was about 11 years old.  Intertwined in them was a vine of night blooming Jasmine.  Oh!  The aroma was delicious to me.  Thanks for the memories, son.  Love, Mom  http://journals.aol.com/firestormkids04/FromHeretoThere
