Hearing Everlong -- Foo Fighters

It's just this: Our garden, largely harvested and otherwise completely gone to seed. Yes, we still have a few peppers and squashes to pick, but otherwise, it's pretty much done for the year. A little later int he month, my father-in-law will swing by and plow it all under (except for the blackberry canes and the asparagus box), and get it ready for next year's planting season. This is what we do every year. It's got a nice cyclical feel to it. But it means that, indeed, summer is gone, daddy, gone.
