Hearing Place to Be -- Nick Drake
I know at least one By The Way reader and member of our AOL-J community is job shopping right now, and while I'm almost certain that person doesn't need this, I'm going to throw it out there for the rest of you: 10 Ways Your Resume Irks Hiring Managers. It's a list of the stupid errors and quasi-informational bits people put on resumes that give the people reading the resume an excuse to toss it in the circular file. Don't give them that excuse.
Also, come on. If you've worked in Manhattan for ten years and can't spell the word? That's just sloppy.

I need to get rid of that stupid general objective then! I've had that on there for years. :(
