Speaking of Burgers...


Every year, Sutter Home vineyards runs a "Build a Better Burger" contest to find, apparently, the best burger in the universe, the reward for which is $50,000. Which is a lot of burgers.

It's running the contest again this year, but that's not what I'm linking to. What I'm linking to is this list of the previous years' winners, which includes burger interpretations like "Hawaiian Tuna Burgers with Maui Wowee Salsa" and "Siciliano Burger with Fresh Ciliegine and Sweet Tomato Butter." I guess just putting bacon on top doesn't cut it anymore.

Oh, wait: "Grilled Avocado BLT Burgers." There's the bacon. I feel better already.
