Hearing Nothing at the moment
12 Things to Do with Coca Cola, including conditioning hair, washing jewelry and cleaning toilets.
You know, I'm a pretty big fan of Coca Cola, but I have to say that if you're using the stuff for these particular activities, and especially for more than one, you might want to go to the store and acquaint yourself with the products specifically designed for these purposes. Because they're there. I'm just saying.
Marginally more useful: How to make a cheap-ass cut of steak more tender. It does not involve Coca-Cola.

I went to the site for the steak tenderizing (great site, btw) and found something linked there that made me weep tears of pure joy.
Bacon Brittle (or Bacon Toffee).

Is there anything more to be said? -
I've actually done that a lot of times. It makes a huge difference. And, if you don't have time for that, 20 to 30 minutes of a good soak in a bit of balsamic vinegar also does a lot to soften up a cheap piece of meat and add a lot of flavor (make a puddle on the plate, put steak in puddle, pour more on top and don't wipe dry before grilling)
It also softens up long pig.
