Your Monday Photo Shoot: Get Mugged

Hearing Hate & War -- The Clash
Get ready to rummage through your cupboards for this week's Photo Shoot:
Your Monday Photo Shoot: Take a picture of one or more interesting coffee mugs you might have. Because it's my experience that people have coffee mugs with interesting stories behind them. At least, I do.
For example, these three. The one on the left is a coffee mug with an article I wrote several years ago on it. The article is called "I Hate your Politics," and in it I took a whack at Liberals, Conservatives and Libertarians, thus assuring no one I knew I would ever speak to me again. At least, so I thought. As it turns out, most people found two-thirds of it funny. The mug in the middle is one made for Krissy by a friend of ours as a fun engagement gift; there's a matching one for me as well. It's handmade and a cherished memento. The mug on the right is a thank-you gift I got for participating in this year's LA Times Festival of Books -- I like it because how can you not like a literate cephalopod?
Sadly, I couldn't find the mug that inspired this photo shoot: My Oprah mug, which I got for appearing on the show, long ago. I think I may have given it to my mother-in-law. Oh, well. These are good enough.
