More Travel

I've been traveling a lot recently, and guess what? I'm about to do it again! Specifically, tomorrow I'm heading to France, where I will spend several days as a guest of the Utopiales Festival, which is a big international festival of science fiction. Yes, I'm going to meet geeks of all nationalities! It's very exciting, actually; it'll be my first time in France.

I understand they have the Internet in France, so I suspect I'll be able to sign on and catch up and tell you what I'm up to. That said, it's entirely possible that I might not be able to check in every day, so if I don't, please don't think something horrible has happened to me. I'm just, you know, exploring France. and/or trying to avoid a 10 euro/hour internet access charge. You know it is. Depending on access, I may time shift the Weekend Assignment and Monday Photo shoots for next weekend and Monday. I'm just preparing you for weirdness, is all.

I'll be back and resuming normal operations on Tuesday, November 6, and that will be the end of my travels for the year. For which I am kind of thankful. Travel is fun, but after all I've moved around this year, I think I'll be happy to stay put for a while.

My husband is adding that, when I take him with me back to France, all the French he needs to know is "Speak English, you little Frog bastard!"
