Your Comfort Food Menu for Tonight


Last week's Weekend Assignment asked folks to share their favorite comfort foods. I hope you've already eaten, because otherwise you're about to get hungry:

Baked potato soup

A whole plate of comfort

Pumpkin roll

Coffee with cocoa

More cocoa comfort

Franks and beans!

Stuffed peppers

Creamed chipped beef

Homemade soup

Soup and sandwich

Monkey bread!

Mmmm... ice cream

Candied sweet potatoes

Macaroni and cheese and Tex-Mex

It's a good thing my wife is bringing home dinner, is all I have to say.

    I remember walking home
    from school for lunch
    when we moved in 5th grade
    my Mom fixed me
    a toasted english muffin
    buttered (margarined) on both halves
    and one or two slices of
    American processed cheese
    I guess I felt comforted because
    I was in a new school :)

    that's one banner ad NOT made to promote a product..lol   I just happen to work for BofA and seem to collect way too much BofA 'branded' stuff...

    I just bought a deep fryer, John.  It's amazing, and it'll be a Christmas miracle if I can survive into the new year without having to undergo a quadruple bypass.  

    I actually thought of you, John, as I was making some deep-fried chocolate cake.  It was awesome!
