Hearing Mary -- Sarah McLachaln

Did I mention it's a snow day?
Well it is. No school. Athena and a friend are out playing with sleds, the dog (who rather likes snow) is frisking about with them, and the cats are saying "the heck with this" and sleeping inside. I'm more allied with the cat line of thinking, I have to say.
Anyway: Snow day!
Snow day where you are?

Beautiful picture. If we had a snow day here in south texas everyone would go ape. Paula

We got a coating last weekend, then it turned to rain. One of the downsides of living by the ocean is that it turns a lot of our snow to rain. One of the New Hampster bloggers here had 2 feet, but the Cape got ditka.
Cool pic, though... 3 inches?
School seems to close easily in Ohio, which I assume has worse winters than Cape Cod. Is it not economically feasible (not enough taxpayers per square mile) to plow heavily? -
No, it will never be a snow day where I am (Phoenix Arizona) but I like to see snow, reminiscent of my Utah days. Gerry http://journals.aol.com/gehi6
