Because You Know You Want to Be Hip to What the Kids Are Listening To


Here are year-end lists of the top 100 singles of the year, from Rolling Stone magazine and Pitchfork Media. Both feature listening capabilities on many of the songs, so when you're all "what? I never heard of this song before," you can listen to it, and then brag to all your friends, "yeah, I thought that LCD Soundsystem song was okay, but it was a bit overrated, don't you think?" and watch as they sort of nod, because God knows they haven't listened to it either. And then you win! And that's what you want.

    My babysitter tells me I'm old because I listen to the wrong type of rap music.
