AOL Journals: Magic Smoke

  I too had issues with the counter "resetting" itself but then it went back to where it was previously yesterday, now my pics don't come up but it has always done that and I will have to get out of it and then get back in again. Thanks, Brandy

  My problem is the counter jumps back & forth and I'm not getting a true count of how many is visiting my journal. I started my journal on tne 24th of April I believe. In three weeks I had had 617 visitors then the counter messed up & it went back to zero then it got up to 247 then went back to 617 then went back to 247 then cut out 25. I have tried to get help from a couple of sources including John Scalzi. He says it can't be fixed once it messes up. Then through e-mail I talked to someone in the UK and he says our USA system in an ancient system. He sent me what their FTP space looks like & there is a world of difference but he or she couldn't help me either although they gave it their best shot. If there is anything you can do to help me I would appreciate it very much. Helen

  I have noticed it with my journal, so I stopped uploading images to FTP and just used image links to other sites.  Now I have a problem with my counter.  It goes down instead of going up.  2 days ago it was 1100, yesterday it was 600, and today it's 43.

  My FTP is going haywire - I lost 3 pics yesterday, 7 today. I've contacted AOL but received little help.

  I haven't noticed it with my own Journal, BUT.... I have noticed it on other Journals.
  I'll go on to check out other entries, & the photos don't come up, I'll even try to use the refresh button & that doesn't even work.
