Update on Saving Entries

Hi all; I got a mail from the tech folks, who think they have a line on the problem with saving entries -- a fix went in last night. However, I'm still getting a lot of reports from users who can't save their entries from inside the AOL client software.

If you're still having trouble, you may need to clear your browser's cache & cookies (even if you've done it before) -- to do this:
  1. Go to Keyword: Preferences
  2. Click Internet [Web] Options
  3. On the right side, where it says "Related Settings", click Internet Explorer settings
  4. In the area marked "Temporary Internet files", click the button that says Delete Files -- This will clear your browser's cache.
  5. Then, also click the button that says "Delete Cookies
Please let me know if this helps or not. I've told the tech folks that people are still having problems and asked them to keep investigating, but I've just confirmed with one of my co-workers who was having the same "can't save" problems this morning (who's not on the Journals team) that clearing her cache & cookies fixed it for her.

Thanks -- Joe
