Moist Monday

Hi folks -- greetings from a moist Monday. Make that downright sodden, as it's been raining for most of the weekend, and has in fact caused flooding problems up and down the East Coast, with more rain on the way.

I don't have any good pictures to share of local conditions, but check out the CNN story for all sorts of submerged car goodness, as well as stories of how different parts of the federal government based in DC are all sorts of shut down.

Hi -- I took a look at your blog and everything looks normal. I can't tell for sure, but I think you're having a problem with your Web browser -- you might try clearing your browser footprint ( http://journals.aol.com/journalseditor/magicsmoke/entries/865 ).

Also, you can see if you can duplicate the problem using a standalone browser ( http://journals.aol.com/journalseditor/magicsmoke/entries/844 ) -- if the problem doesn't occur with a separate standalone browser, it may indicate that you need to reinstall your AOL client.

Hi Joe!
I am back blogging but I still have a problem with the functionality of the buttons on my add-an-entry screen. Somehow, I can only make one work. When I get in I can select color, font and the bold button function and they will wok but then the add a picture button will not. If I add a picture first, then the other buttons cease to operate. So I am stuck with a difficult choice of nice colored font or a pic in my blog. Also, I can only make the picture button once. I can't put multiple pics in my blog.
Any tips or pointers in resolving the problem will be greatly appreciated.

We could use a little of that rain here in western Washington. It's supposed to be in the lower 90's today. Of course the heat is made worse by the high humidity that goes along with it. I do not have ac in the house but lots of fans are going.
