Quick Wednesday Plugs

Just a few quick blog plugs for today:

* You've got about a week to submit an entry to this Cat Community Cat Show

* The 2,996 Blog Project still needs a few hundred bloggers to help commemorate each of the victims of the September 11th attacks (suggested by Gull and previously featured by Kathi)

* Research & Learn's Environmental Editor, Dan, over at the Down to Earth Blog, wants to see your best nature photos, so send them in.

That's it for today, talk to you later.

Thanks -- Joe

Ditto to what Kathi said ......

It's great to see that J-Land is responsive to the blogosphere AND this worthy memorial project!  The server is crowded today:  http://www.dcroe.com/2996/

You don't have to do anything fancy -- there are already lots of info and memorial pages on the majority of victims.  You can post bios, poems, links, images, etc. .... No tribute is too small!

    Thanks for the reminder, Joe.

Thanks! for plugging the 2,996 Tribute again....Michele Malkin posted about it today, also. It looks like they might reach goal, of one blogger to honor one victim each. It bothered me, that out of all the folks on the Internet worldwide, 2,996 couldn't be found to honor the victims?

And kudos, to AOL! for your promoting of the project......Yahoo 360 got all snarky, and said they "couldn't post URL's" that weren't specifically related to 360.  Just another reason to love J Land, and AOL message boards, and the Journal community and support on AOL!
