Hiccups in the SNS, Edit Entry Process?

Some of our editors are experiencing a few hiccups when signing into and editing their Journals. I'm hearing that what happens is that the editor(s) are being asked to sign in repeatedly and seeing their screenname as "Journals."

Then they are occasionally experiencing a magical phenomenon known as The Incredible Vanishing Update Button. Apparently, the Update buttons appear on single entry pages, but not on the main Journal page.

I'm told this is a result of some code changes in the R8 install this morning -- workarounds that solved one problem but ... you follow me here.

Are any of you guys out there in J-Land having this problem? If so, please either e-mail me or leave a comment describing the situation in as much detail as you can.

Hi... the problem I am experiencing is the one with the edit-remove-delete buttons in my blogs. They do appear all the time even if my blog is open from another scree name (ie: my children's screen names), which means that if they wanted to change the content of my blog when visiting it, they could. I believe even strangers would be having this faculty to change my blogs if wanting for these buttons appear on the screen and give them this facility. The problem for me remains in the fact that there is no more descrimination between the owner and others.
    hope it makes sense.
