It actually does say in vishy's post every week to put blogplugs in the tag line,.
As for doing more with Magic Smoke, why not go back to the old format, that's how I found blogs in the first place, the "People Connection" page could do with an update. If you are asked to be the "Guest Editor" surely you can choose whom ever you want as your picks, again all you have to do is drop the Journals Editor a line should you want to be a Guest Editor, then a more diverse selection of blogs can be highlighted.

We are trying to root out these spam journals as we speak. Hopefully, we can roll out a deterrent by the end of the week that will plug this hole. One has to realize the battle with these spammers is a never ending one and we try to do our best. In the meanwhile, if you come across journals like this, please let us know.
