Blogplugs for Friday

* Ken has a picture of a rainbow and guess what is at the end of it ? A pot of .... :)

* Deb invites you to share your recipes at Kitchen Chatter which has been turned into a Community Journal (aka Shared).

* Sherry is happy to report that she lost 5.2lbs this week. Sherry urges you to talk to your children openly and honestly about the way you vote and the importance of it. She narrates the trials and tribulations of being a mother to her college going daughter.

* Jimmy is in a party mood now that Tax Day has passed! I will raise a toast to that :)

* Marie goes to the theater to watch Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story and was thoroughly impressed.

* Val's son turned 20 last Saturday. Happy birthday, Matt!. She also writes 100  things about herself.

* Charlie is into hypothetical sports matchups. Like, would the NY Jets 1968 beat the Green Bay Packers 1966 ? He does fantasy matches based on actual statistics in various sports. Besides, he is new to JLand. Please stop by to say hello.

* Krissy posts that her mother-in-law (John's mom) passed away. Our heartfelt condolences to John and Krissy. Also, her shoulder will most likely need surgery.

* Betty has a picture of an interesting plant; prickly at the bottom with a flower at the top. Seen anything like this ? She is also moving soon, and writes about how they ended up renting the house they did. She wants the Lord to help her be meek and humble. Here she narrates a mom story for you.

* Gifdude, has done some remodeling on his blog. Here he gives a plug for the website "blurb" and now he can claim to be an author.

* Krissy's JLand Photo Shoot entries for the subject "jewelry, buttons & pretty little things".

* Marie's AOL Community Photo Challenge, entries for the subject "Create Your Own Postcard".

* Monica invites photo submissions for the title "Every Picture Tells a Story". Give us the story behind the picture. The current photo/story is: I found this _______________ (seashell, ring, cobweb, flower, rare stamp)  Where and how did you find it? Do you often find "treasures"? The participants are listed here.
