Feature Focus: How to Edit Photos on the Web

AOL Journals doesn't have a specific feature to Edit photos.  But on the web, you can find many basic photo editors.   Ones that offer features like cropping, re-sizing, to ones that make your photos more fun with clipart.

For example, you can take a photo like this:

And do some fun things to it very quickly.
Here's the same photo with July 4th celebration:

This took about 2 minutes to do, using picnik.com.

I reviewed 5 photo editors, and you can watch the video below to find out more.

The web actually has alot more than 5 photo editors.   But after reviewing many, I think these are some of the best.

Most allow you to upload a photo,  or use one from an existing site like Photobucket or Flickr.   You can then edit the photo, add text, and add fun borders or art.

Let me know what you think.

Wow, thanks.  I actually crop on the Jasc program that came with my computer, and believe it or not resize with the resizer that comes with AOL email.  You can also do some editing in AOL email.  I have been doing it that way for four years!  But to be able to do all your editing in a one stop place looks great.  I have been wanting something like what you have showed us for years!  I will check it out Will, and get back to you, and let you know which I think is best!  Thanks for finding these for us1

Very interesting, I'll have to check out that web site.  All my good pictures are in my computer and my computer is in the computer hospital.  Linda in WA http://journals.aol.com/lsfp1960/LindasWorld/
