Feeling Happy
Hello everyone , I am so honored that I was asked to do the guest
editor's pick this week , as you are reading this I am
hopefully sitting in a lounge by the pool at the resort, that my family
and I are staying at ....I will give you a brief description of my
story. If you read my journal you know.. My name is Sherry aka
Sherry's
weight loss

love Betty Boop,
Elvis and Cars (yes I like to work on
cars)...
Betty of Koda's Corgi
Tales
Koda or any another species who loves long
naps, great treats and walks. Then there is Pam
who is so considerate, supportive and funny. She finds good in everyone
and points out the positives. She made special tags for her friends
showing how much she appreciates all..she is
priceless.
There is
several people on this weight loss journey with me
Joann
who I just recently found out that has had purple hair at one time or
another , evidently it is a LA thing .. he he I love her humor and
enjoy reading about her journey ... Christine
who is claiming she is evil and who I know secretly is more of angel to
her friends and family.. She is hardworking determine , no matter what
life throws her way this girl fights to be healthy and taking
care of those she loves .. I am lucky to call her my
friend...Emmi who I think
is talented and amazing as a artist 
yes she makes me
tags sweet and simple pleasures
and a friend I tell her
all the time she is my sister from another mother because of all our
similarities.. she has two great journals the one above and if
scales could talk which has a lot of information on exercise
and eating healthy.
My fellow
Country living jlanders Beth
and Ken
are always entertaining and informative . I love their descriptions of
their travels and of course I have to laugh at Beth's passion for
politics .. and her ability to straighten out the media . Ken is one of
the few brave men who come into my insane world and don't go running
for shelter. Then there is Jimmy
who keeps me laughing and makes my day with his prospective on life in
general and his CAT awards are right on target. Speaking of Cats
and I mean a lot of cats and other very lucky
animals Lisa
has a lot of cats and a lot of love for them . I enjoy reading her
stories of each cat and how it became a member of her family. The love
and compassion she shows her animals give me hope that the world is a
good place for all species.

cars)... I am a 38 year old mother of 3
teenagers , I am married to a loving work in progress , other
wise known as my husband of 21 years , I sold my business to care for
my disabled Mother who passed away last year and
my Father who lives on our Domestic
farm ....I went from being a city slicker to a farm girl
again. Lets just say that green acres has nothing on me
...2006 my weight sky rocketed to it's highest ever 299.9 lbs
.. I was terrified I had visions of being bed ridden and having to be
cut out of my home because my eating was out of control... I was ill
literally from all the stress and weight gain.. I was up in
the middle of the night and got on AOL and searched for weight loss solutions. I had
tried every diet out there and nothing had worked .. I felt so alone
and helpless .. then I came across a journal that made me laugh , cry
and it but mostly gave me hope.. I won't leave the
link for that journal because that person has since went private and I
want to respect her privacy , but I will forever be grateful for the
doors she opened and the friendships that she introduced me too.. Since
that day I have been journaling my ups and downs of my weight loss
journey , from family drama to childhood demons I have logged it all...
I truly believe that a healthy life style means physical , mental and
emotional health, I am not on a diet , I am on a journey of a
lifetime.. and I am taking it one bite, one step, one day, one
pound at a time... I am learning as I go down this journey and
I share things I have heard about and things I have tried .... I have
came across some amazing people in jland and I hope I give them justice
They are there for the tears and the cheers , I call them my jland family ... because
friends just doesn't cover the support that they show me
....

she keeps me laughing and makes me feel like I am back in the
80's in my leg warmers and frizzy sprayed hair ...and we may have to
campaign for a pardon for her if boy George isn't able to make his
concert dates ... Lynne who is
way busy and I can relate to her stories about her job and the things
that kids do .. it is like having someone else play you in a movie...
and you are watching it unfold again with different actors but yet the
characters are the same. These are the public
journals I read I find a little of me in each and everyone of
them and that shows me that no matter how hard it gets you are never
alone there are people who are either going thru it , or who have been
there and done it .. if you reach out for support it is there coast to
coast or across the oceans .. great friends are waiting to be made .. I
hope you visit my friends and enjoy their journal as much as I have ..
