Terri Schiavo and Estelle Browning were both used by George Felos and James Barnhill to further the pro-death cause.

 
 
 
According to an article in the Minnesota Medical Association's monthly publication ,PULSE,June 2005, Volume 88:   ".. 2001, when the call came from James Barnhill, M.D., a Tampa Florida, neurologist, asking if he might be interested in examining a young woman for a court hearing, Cranford said yes. He knew the issue at stake - who should make the final decision for the patient - was important, but he had no idea at the time that the case of young Terri Schiavo was poised to move from the courtroom to the newsroom to Congress...There was to be an evidentiary hearing in 2002 involving five experts..." That's right! The same Dr. James Barnhill who diagnosed Terri as being PVS. And the same Barnhill, who along with George Felos,played a main part in the Estelle Browning Case.

In 1998, James Barnhill saw Terri for 10 minutes and told Judge George Greer that she had no chance of recovery. Despite that claim later being refuted by multiple doctors and experts on caring for incapacitated patients, Greer accepted Barnhill's prognosis.

So. Originally, Terri's  fate was decided, based solely on the testimony of one MD, James Barnhill, whose office was/is on Main Street in Dunedin,Florida  right next door to pro-death attorney George Felos' office.  Read

Less than a year before Terri's feeding tube was removed on March 18 2005,George Felos and James Barnhill went on a seven day Night Western Caribbean Cruise Round Trip from Tampa-Jan 24- 31, 2004. According to the continuing Education site:
The purpose of this educational activity is to examine the legal requirements for advance directives and discuss the counseling of patients to ensure end of life preferences

Then from January 3-8, 2006, George Felos and James Barnhill went on a 5-Night Bahamas Cruise from Ft. Lauderdale,FL. According to the Continuing Education site:

On September 9, 2006, George Felos and his pro-death buddy James Barnhill will be going on another cruise to Hawaii for a week [Sept. 9-16,2006].According to the Continuing Education site:

The purpose of this CME activity is to recognize the potential for
legal concerns in medical practice with particular emphasis on End-of-Life planning.

    This puts to rest any idea that your previous article about the two was speculation.
    Michael Schiavo says in his book that when he called Felos and wanted to drop the case, that Felos told him to think of the "others". It's more than  obvious that trying to convince the  person who hired him, Felos put his agenda ahead of legal ethics and the person who hired and paid him.
    Michael Schiavo complains in his book about the media attention and lies that affected his life.He should save some of that criticism for his buddy George Felos. While Michael himself stayed away from the media, Felos pumped up the drama right down to false accusations of puncture marks. The media in the area never  published the police report and exposed George Felos as the drama queen and trouble maker.
