         When Dying Hungry

If it don't matter how a person dies
As long as he dies with dignity
Let's burn the corn fields
Set fire to the food chain
And smile as we lay dying.

If we get hungry or thirsty
let us remind ourselves of Terri
And how she lay helplessly
dying in the name of 'dignity'

If it don't matter how death
takes us by the hand
Let's change all the pro-life
laws of our great land!

If it don't matter how people die
And starvation/dehydration
is a beautiful way to meet ones
maker in the sky.....
Let's cut poor counties off
from our food supply.

If it don't matter that in a nation where
the right to life was once a part of liberty
Why do so many cling to life and
fill themselves up with food and drink
to keep from feeling dignity?

When it no longer matters that our
fellow human being is being forced
to go unfed,and is hungry.

When it no longer matters that those
with disabilities are human beings too.

Then.......soon nothing will matter
because there will be no one left
to care.

If it don't matter how a person
meets his maker....
let's forget about human compassion
and in the name of death with dignity
all humanity take hands and pray
that God won't send no food our way.
