If you came to my house…

You would see: That my back deck is right on the 7th tee of the golf course I live on. It is where I spend a lot of afternoon time when the sun goes around the house.

I’d probably feed you: Peanuts, chips cheese and crackers, since we probably had lunch or dinner at the golf course after our round.

And offer you this to drink: A Manhattan since that is what I drink most of the time. If you wanted something else I would hit up on one of my neighbors who could probably supply what you desired.

I would undoubtedly ask if you have read: any good books lately and would offer the opportunity to go through the five large boxes of books that I have read over the last ten years to see if you like any of them. Wish someone would take some to them since I can't lift them up to get them out of the basement.

I would d want to play this music for you: Sorry I ain't got no music in this house, you may bring your own. If i turn on the radio it will be tuned to 24 hour news station.

I would want to tell you about: My best golf shots.

I would probably suggest a game of: golf the next morning.

I would definitely show off: latest or newest golf clubs or props.

I might get on the computer and show you: the other golf courses in the area that we could play. How I chart and analyze my golf rounds and score.

If it was a long enough visit, we might watch: go to see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall and Betsy Ross' house and many other historical sites in or around Philly. But since you came to my house you must be a golfer so I guess we will just play another 36 holes.

I would share my. anything except my favorite driver.

At the request of a number of Jlanders whose journals I read and comment on I have decided to put another entry on my journal.

Being in my thirteenth year of my retirement I really live and enjoy a very quiet un eventual life.

My wife, children and grandchildren all do their best to keep me active and entertained and they do it well. I enjoy my mornings reading the paper from back to front starting with the cryptogram, crossword puzzle and the jumble. I always complete the crypto and about ninety-five percent of the crossword. That takes me to noon when I go to my computer and read about thirty or forty journals and comment on five or six. Then I do an online cryptogram and complete about ninety-eight percent of them. On to a jig saw puzzle. Then to my message boards AOL Golf and The Golf Channel Discussion Board. Time for dinner and maybe a cocktail. Them back to the computer to catch up and then play an hour of Slingo. Then if I have time I will play some Tiger Woods' golf. By 10 PM O am in bed and read for an hour or two and then sleep soundly for eight plus hours.

Now isn't that exciting? See why I rarely do a journal. I am not bored but I sure you would be if I told you what I did with my day.

Only exercise I get is a weekly round of golf, usually playing alone, and the few "honey do" chores that my wife requests. I enjoy golfing even though I am not very good at it. Most fun I have on the course is when I play with either of my sons or my good friend Dan.

Couple of times a week and every weekend we visit our children and their kids who are the joys of my life.

Living on a golf course with an association most of the chores outdoors like grass cutting, shrubbery trimming and painting are the responsibility of the organization.

I do take digital pictures and videos mostly of the grand kids. Take a trip or mostly a cruise every two years and visit my son in SC a couple of times a year.

Will try to add a picture of the new bridge in Charleston, SC that I took from the boat that was taking us to Ft. Sumtner in the spring of this year. I think it is one of my better photos. It got added but it is up the top ^.

Well that it for now I probably won't have another entry for anothe six months.

Old Age

Just occured to me that was seventy-five years of age when my oldest son got married and I also have a seven year old grandson.

That seems odd to me except that I have four children and four grandchildren. Love those grandchildren.

The oldest son has recently sent me an email and told me how much he has enjoyed his first year of teaching and how he does not miss his old job, of twenty fine years. He now loves to be teaching and has found a social life that he never had time for before. I think he has found out that making lots of money is not the end all and be all of life. I am overjoyed for him.

Thought I would throw up the rest of the "right angle" pictures as a treat for you for reading my full moon thoughts. Bill

Couldn't find the pictures. So here is my eighteen month old grandaughter eating her first ice cream cone.

Trying to put up pictures of my trip to Charlestown, South Carolina to visit my son and his wife. Had a great nine days. Did some sighseeing and golfing. Had great food out and at home. Good weather but cloudy and windy at times which cut our golf time short.
