June's Journey

Walking away from the dead feelings inside

walking away no more places to hide

Walking away from the hurt and the pain

leaving it behind like a cold winters rain

Leaving the past just where it should be

none of the hurt shall be following me

Instead I embrace all the love in my life

and left behind me all the worry and strife

Up ahead in the distance awaits my new day

where I choose my new roads where I go

and where I stay

Or maybe I will take the path still unknown

and find my new world all on my own

  My first visit to your site.  I saw the invitation on Bob Brimm's site, and am glad.   I think your poem is wonderful...and sage advice.  I'll spend more time with the site and make further comments when I know what I'm talking about.
