Peikoff Chooses Kerry
US Election 2004 has not yet endorsed any candidate for President. While such an endorsement will be made by November, there are still substantial issues to be researched. When that endorsement is made, it will be an affirmative choice as opposed to a selection against the other candidate.
Unlike the cotton candy of the Democratic National Convention, a rational statement on why Kerry should be elected is available on-line.
On June 3 during the 15th lecture of his course about his DIM Hypothesis, Dr. Leonard Peikoff analyzed the presidential elections in terms of the concepts presented in the course. In a 19 minute audio statement from the lecture, Dr. Peikoff explains why he will vote for Kerry, the problems with Bush, and why the lack of good candidates is no reason to abstain from voting.
Audio from Peikoff's Statement is available HERE
Note: In understanding the except, those unfamiliar with The DIM Hypothesis can equate 'D1' (where D is for Disintegration) with the advocate of a mixed economy , and 'M2' (where M is for Misintegration) with the advocate of totalitarianism. Missing in this election is the Integration candidate.
