Featured on AOL's Political Panel

US Election 2004's post Abandon Ship? has been featured on AOL's Political Panel {keyword: Political Panel}.  The quote selected by AOL identifies Kerry's motivation for obtaining unearned Purple Hearts, which up to the time of the post had not been made clear in media reports.

If you are a new visitor to this site, welcome.

Your first question may be whether this is a pro-Bush or pro-Kerry site.  Simply put, it is neither.  At the moment, neither candidate has been endorsed by the site.

So if the site is not a candidate or party tool, what is it about?  The site is about the same thing this election is about: the intersection of politics, ideas, and our lives.  In this regard, both candidates are highly flawed.  However, you have probably already noticed that.

Please enjoy the older posts (eight months worth) and note the features on the left side of the main page.

As this site will not continue much past the election, be sure to follow the numberous links to resources that will be available in the future such as news and comment at Capitalism Magazine and the Egoist.

If there are particular field of interest to your life, there are links to resources for art (Lee Sandstead and the Quent Cordair Fine Art Gallery), business (Center for the Advancement of Capitalism and RuleOfReason), defense (Patriots for Defense of America and Pro War Meetup), health care (Americans for Free Choice in Medicine), philosophy in action (Ayn Rand Institute and The Intellectual Activist), and psychology (Dr. Hurd).

Also, with a copy of Cox & Forkum’s book Black & White World nextto my computer, you might want to buy a copy so that when I refer to The Young and the Witless on page 113 then you can see it too.
