Forkum Votes Bush

Alan Forkum has expressed and explained his vote in the presidential election:

I voted for Bush last week. Regular readers know that I have little good to say about Kerry's proposed policies. They also know that I've been critical of Bush's halting, apologetic pursuit of the war on terror (our first cartoon on that subject was in November 2001).

But because Bush correctly identified state-sponsors of terrorism as a primary target, and then followed through with deposing two terror-sponsoring regimes, and because Kerry has offered no alternative except to pursue the war more multilaterally (that is, commit the same mistakes Bush has made but as a matter of principle), and worse still, because Kerry would treat terrorism as a fundamentally criminal enterprise rather than the war it is, Bush remains the only short-term hope of holding back if not stopping Islamist terrorists and theocrats who threaten American and her allies. If re-elected, it would remain to be seen if Bush would prosecute the war as it should be. But he's the only candidate to come close to pursuing the correct course. [A. Forkum, Decision 2004, Cox and Forkum, 10/31/2004]

As we will see tomorrow all this smoke blowing by the Anti-Bush Bashers and Kerry Apologists was for not and George W. Bush will be the President for FOUR MORE YEARS. The majority of the American People are smarter than John Kerry gives us credit for and the vote will show it tomorrow.

But of course as John Kerry has his army of lawyers ready to attempt to reverse all returns that show he lost, we might not know until sometime next week that George W. Bush is still the President.

A New President, John F. Kerry

After a much too long political season, the election will reach a climax tomorrow.  After careful study of the likely outcome, it's Kerry-Edwards.  The Republican effort to suppress the vote will fail.  The heavy turnout of Democratic voters will also lead to the recapturing of the Senate.  Take that to the bank!

    Dear blog readers,

I would like to inform you on the reality of our country. President Bush has LIED to the American public. We have found NO weapons of mass destruction, a claim he and Cheney have made on numerous occasions. President Bush decided one day after September 11th to concentrate on Iraq, not Osama Bin Laden, the man who is still not captured. The President decided not to send Special Forces on a mission to find Bin Laden. If reelected, Bush will further allienate this country from nations of the world. Instead of working together to eliminate terrorism, we are instead sending the United State's troops multiple times to Iraq. Would you send your child to die in order to capture Fallujah? How about the middle class, who have higher taxes to help Bush's friends, the wealthiest 2% of the country. Instead of helping Americans, especially seniors, with drug costs, he is instead feeding the drug companies, by not allowing drugs from Canada. Bush is not for the working family. While you might think Kerry is not the best man to be president, he has a plan. He is capable of leading this country, and has proven it through his amazing work in the Senate. Help America, and vote Kerry.
