Remembering Sept. 11 Should Lead to Action in War against Terrorism

Today’s anniversary is a reminder that we are currently at war and the reasons why we must kill the terrorists.

In this election, no other issue disputed between the candidates is more important than how they will act as Commander-in-Chief to overthrown the state sponsors of terrorism.

Despite defeating two terrorist sponsoring regimes and receiving the surrender of a third, we have only begun.  According to the Sept. 11 Commission, elements of the government of Lebanon and Iran were involved in training al-Qaeda terrorists [see entry Iran and al-Qaeda].  This information was known by the Bush Administration before it was stated by the commission.

The Sept. 11 question for both President Bush and Senator Kerry, “As President will you promise to invade Iran and Syria [Lebanon’s master] before their sponsorship of terrorism results in another terrorist attack against the U.S. or our allies?”
