<description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;The sickness is still lingering and I haven't lost any weight so far this month because I'm not really trying to.&amp;nbsp; I did lose&amp;nbsp;2 1/4&amp;nbsp;inches and I will take that!!&amp;nbsp; ; )&amp;nbsp; I hope to be back on schedule and in the "groove" to lose by March 1st. I have 15 pounds till GOAL!!&amp;nbsp; I can do it by May 1st!&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;The good also is that I dropped a dress size and can fit in 12's and some size medium shirts!! So slowly but surely I'm almost to a 6/8!&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

The result you get will be the number of calories you need to maintain your current weight. &lt;STRONG&gt;To lose&lt;/STRONG&gt;, you'll have to eliminate some by cutting back on food or increasing the intensity of your exercise. Since you're already walking an hour a day, you might try picking up your pace.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;*This was from Dr. Weil's website and I just wanted to share because it is THE REAL way you lose weight.&amp;nbsp; There is no secret about weight loss.&amp;nbsp; You have to burn more than you take in.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;For me, it says on sedentary or light activity I maintain my current weight at 1900-2000 calories.&amp;nbsp; So to lose a pound a week just by cutting food, I would eat 1400 calories a day.&amp;nbsp; Or I could burn some off with exercise also, say only cut my cals by 250 a day and then&amp;nbsp;burn 250 in exercise and I would lose a pound a week.&amp;nbsp; That would mean I would eat around 1650 a day.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;Sorry its been a while since I've updated this journal!&amp;nbsp; I've been updating my Christian Homemaker journal more often than this one.&amp;nbsp; I would update both but I'm limiting my time online because I have other things that need to be taken care of and the internet can become addicting if you let it!!&amp;nbsp; Anyway.....when I'm on, I will most likely post more to my Christian Homemaker journal than this one but I will update this one with weight loss and things of that sort!&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;I did my walk/run every day this past week!&amp;nbsp; It felt great too to get my schedule changed around.&amp;nbsp; I'm only doing Mon-Fri, so didn't go today but I'm so busy with things around the house that I'm sure I'm compensating for it.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;I did the "No Fast Food" challenge for 3 weeks and then last night had a burger/fries from McD's and let me tell you.......I felt sick after the 3rd bite!&amp;nbsp; It wasn't even pleasing to my taste buds anymore......my body was rejecting it also.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;My weight has been up a few pounds since I started walking/running everyday but that is normal after a workout for me.&amp;nbsp; However my legs are getting smaller......so that is good!&amp;nbsp; I'm going to add in weight training this coming week along with my 30 minutes walk/run's and that should speed things up even more so.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=2&gt;I made it through the 2 weeks of no fast food!!!!!!! I still have not had any of it so I guess I will continue on for a month!! ; ) Why not? I'm losing more and I feel "cleaner" inside..... &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

Me and another sister from church that lives near me are going to go running every morning EARLY for 30 minutes. We are going to try and keep this up as long as we can......some days we will just walk but for the most part it will be running. We walked half today and then ran the rest and it feels great.......the weight should really fall off quicker now! &lt;BR/&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;</description>
