Wrapping Text Around Photos
[Bridal Notes and Wishes] (Example of text 'wrapped' around an image)
To wrap text around an image, follow these steps:
1. Upload the image you wish to use to your FTP space (see how-to use FTP)
2. Click on the "Add New Entry" in your journal
3. Complete the top portion (Subject, Mood, etc.)
4. In the "Text of Entry" box, click on the hyperlink button and at the prompt, type in:
">
Note: You can change the align to left, too.
5. Click "okay" and wait for the image to load into your text entry area.
6. Move your cursor to the left of the image and highlight the extra "> characters then click on the text color icon above the text entry window and select white (this makes that ugly character "disappear."
7. For right aligned images, place your cursor between the image and that ugly character group you "hid" and type (just make certain to change your font color!). The image will stay to the right, thus "wrapping" the text around it. Left aligned: place your cursor after the image and go at it!

I can't seem to get images to show up when I try to wrap text. A black box appears but no picture. I load it into my FTP space and all that, but it still doesn't work. What could I be doing wrong and do you have any suggestions? Thanks!! ~ Kate xo

Heheheh... thanks Andrea. I can't solve that problem with your "take AOL anywhere" situation, BUT, I certainly can compile your "situation" with what others report and feed 'em on through to the powers that be. ;-)

You're such a good egg!
And I'd e-mail and tell you this, but that would involve me having to sign on and it's a pain in my butt to do that. For some reason, AOL dislikes me signing onto BOTH journals and e-mail. There's a grouch in cookieland.

To make it wrap, go to the HTML tab and add "align=right" or "align=left" in the code, before the border command.
You can repeat this for as many pictures as you would like! No typing code!!! Just make sure you have uploaded them to your FTP space first.
