Can someone please tell me why...oh why...people are voting for Sanjiyah??? I mean...has America forgotten that this is a SINGING competition? It has nothing to do with looks, how pretty his hair is, or how bright his smile is. IT IS A SINGING COMPETITION!! AND HE CANNOT SING!! He is waay out of his league here and should've been gone a long time ago. Even he knows it. He knew it from the first time he made the bottom. Do you remember the shocked look on his face??? Hellooo!!! How do you have voices like Melinda and Lekisha in the same competition with this poor excuse for an El De barge impersonation???
In all honesty...I am extremely disappointed with the American Idol founders. At this point they should be rethinking their judging system or they WILL lose viewers. When it comes down to the finals, the rules should be:
(1) the judges vote for who comes back if they see that America has gotten it all wrong, or
(2) we should vote for who we DON'T want next week.
I am seriously considering starting a petition to combat this. What on Earth is Mr. Davis going to do with him? He's not marketable. He should be a model for a Gap kids commercial or something. William Hung will have sold more albums in 6months than Sanjiyah could ever sell. It's money wasted. America...wake up!! Fantasia can sing. Gerald Levert (God rest his soul) had one of the best male voices of his time! Bo from last season (or two seasons ago) could sing. Paris from whatever season she was on could BLOW!! What a voice she has on her! Sanjiyah??? Well he's not MY American Idol. SIMON DO SOMETHING!!!
