It was a good week at the start of the week went to see the fireworks with my Mom and my sister and her family..... see pics above.

And then I had a wonderful 4th of July with lots of friends and family at my parents cookout until about 7pm when all of the sudden I started to get a sore throat!

Than "BAMM" I wake up Thursday AM with thee worst sore throat, no voice,small fever, and come to find out an ear infection!!

So I have been literally IN BED for two days now!  Today I started antibiotics and hope to be feeling much better tomorrow!  At least I pray I do!

My sister called CVS for me seeing I can NOT speak on the phone without the person on the other line thinking I am some freak wispering sweeet nothings in there ear. They told me I can take NyQuil with the medication and my son brought me some home from work tonight.......

BUT seeing I think of my son before of myself because after all I am a Mom I can only look at the bottle of NyQuil probably until midnight when he comes home.....he went downtown to watch the burnouts form the Summer Nationals!  I cant fall asleep until he is home and safe!!  yes he still has MY CAR!!

Maybe around 11 he will think of his sick mother and decide to come home early!!!  HA HA HA  Thats comical!

The good news is my wrist is much better!!

Of course my friends called me to go out tonight....go figure!!  Had to take a rain check!! 

Ok well I think I might go do some online shopping maybe that will make me feel better!

Another weekend flies by........

Wow its been a long time since I have been on here.  I have been writing in my MySpace blog which eventually will take over my life so you should all resort to that soon!

I am watching my favorite movie of all time right now!!!  GREASE!! 

Last week Matt, Cody, Theresa, Brianna, Ronnie, Heidi, Megan and I went to 6 Flags on the hottest day of the year so far!  it was HOT as hell!!  We went on all the rides from 10:30 to 1:30 and then we spent the rest of the day in the water park.  We all left the park with both feet which was a good thing.

I spent Friday at the Dr's and then the hospital due to my wrist.  I sprained the ligaments in my wrist at the gym.  After much confusion I finally seen a hand Dr who told me to wear the splint for about a week and when I am home to ice it and do range of motion exercises to prevent muscle weakness.  Not sure how I am gonna work this week with one hand but I will try!  All I know is I have 9 more days until I leave for Miami and I WILL NOT be wearing a splint on my wrist that's for sure!!!

Yesterday a bunch of us from work went to Tim's house for a cookout.  I played bocce with my left hand and did pretty good I must say for a handicap! I also cleaned my house today with one hand which was a challenge! Especially when I had to take the vacuum apart cuz it was clogged up!!

Ok well this typing with one hand and three fingers is not cutting it and I must get back to GREASE!!!!!!!!!!

I doubt I will get back to ya before Wednesday so..................

Tayla graduated last night........it had to the best graduation I have been to.  It was on a football field and the weather was perfect.  The kids gave great , fun speeches!!  The had a fly by during the class song which a kid wrote. Just over all great graduation!! So enjoy the pics above.

Not sure if I mentioned I got another per diem job with EASTER SEALS.  Started that on Monday and liked it alot......the money is great!!  Seeing this Monday is a state holiday I will be getting 8 hours at Easter Seals.  Double dipping!!  Nice!

Now for the bad news of the week!!!  I got that dreaded phone call all parents hate to get.  "Mom I just got in a car accident"  UGH!!!!!!!!!  Yup Matt had his first accident! His car was towed but fixable! His Dad picked it up and he is a mechanic so should be better soon! His headlight got smashed, dented in the plastic in fornt of his tire so it hits when he makes a turn and a belt fell off. At least thats all I see. Who knows! So he is now depending on friends for rides. ha ha Some lady hit him when they both had green lights so not sure of who will be at fault yet. But at least he was OK!!

Now for the good news of the week!!!!!!!!  IM GOING TO MIAMI!!!  July11-15.  My friend Michele is going on business and Im tagging along. All I gotta pay for is airfare!  our hotel is right on SOUTH BEACH!!!!  nationalhotel.com check it out! So excited!!

Today I have quit the busy day!!  Yet FUN!!! I have my other friend Micheles daughters 1st birthday party! Then from there Megan is having a huge party and tons of people are going to that.  Its a great day and she lives right on the water with a nice party boat! 

                         So its gonna be a good day!!

Oh my goodness my brain hurts!!!  I started my new per diem job at Easter Seals today and I didn't realize how much medical terminology I lose by working at WDC.  I had orientation from 8-11 then shadowed a few therapists at a nursing home in Shrewsbury.  Oh Man I forgot how much the nursing home pts make ya laugh!  I got "another" email account and another voice mail box.  Easter Seals has so much fun stuff like softball leagues, volleyball, golf tourneys, party cruises.  I was there one day and it fealt like I knew everyone for months when I left.  Which is always nice.

Well it certainly was a busy weekend........Friday night was Honor Night for my work.  We had a good time.  Got an achievement award which is nice but really not a big deal ha ha  We did a few chocolate cake shots and danced most of the night away.

Saturday was my cousin Bryans party and then Matts birthday party as you can see from the pics above.....Matt is now 17!!!  Which just blows my mind!  Growing right before my eyes to a young man!!  Poor thing is pretty sick right now with a  bad cold and a bad cough.  With only 3 more days of school of course!!

Next weekend is going to be just as busy!!  Friday night is Tayla is graduating.  Saturday in the early afternoon is my friend Micheles daughters 1st birthday party and then Megan and Scott are having a party on the pontoon boat and we are staying out there in a tent in her yard so we don't have to drive home after drinking.

Today is my baby's birthday and I made a lil suttin for him that I wanted to share with all of you because he is just so damn cute!!  Always has been always will be!!    

                                                             

The week is kind of dragging unfortunately.......only Tuesday.  Busy weekend approaching but it will be fun too.  Friday night I am going to Honor Night for work.  They are actually having a "American Idol" contest.  Having Simon, Paula and Randy and everything!  I think it is going to be comical!!  looking forward to it.  also Friday is when my husband comes home from the Cape so another reason to look forward to the weekend!!

Tonight my Dad made Matt his favorite for supper, Shepards pie, and Matt chewed and screw before he headed off to his basketball game.  Summer league started tonight.  Fun Fun Fun.  At least he gets himself to and from them now!  Very nice!  I am having a birthday cake for him Saturday night after my cousins grad party!  BUSY BUSY BUSY!!

Simmi and I did that legs and abs BOOT CAMP class again tonight......it was pretty funny. There were some guys in the class, who appeared to be muscle heads an thought they were unstoppable and this class was killing them they were moaning and groaning the whole hour!  yes theycan probably bench three times what I can but when it come to classes we could kick their asses!!  I'm hoping my body is getting used to this class and I am not sore for another 3 days! We'll see!

Well Iam exhausted and seeing I woke this morning at 7:30 and had to feed someone at 8 in Wrentham I need to make sure that don't happen again!

Wow May 16th was not last entry!!!???  Oh Man where do I begin!!??  I'm not even about to tell what I did every day since than but I can summarize my life in the past weeks!!  OR least I can try!!  Here we go!

After a long battle with cancer my Aunt passed away on May 22nd.....her services were in Florida.  She suffered for along time and now she is not in pain anymore!  She is looking down at us from above with my grandparents. Another eye to look over us.  God knows this family needs it.

On May 19th, Megan, Heidi, Marc and I went to the KISS 108 concert!!  It was awesome....even though it rained/misted all day we made the best of it.  Seen Chris Daughtry, Fergie, Akon, Katherine McPhee, Dashboard Confessionals, and so many more!!  Great show!  Looking forward to next year hopefully we have better weather!!

And as you can see from above my brothers daughter Brianna graduated from Holy Name on the 31st.  This girl is amazing!!  Everything she does she exceeds at!  Was in highest honors and the national honor society throughout high school!  Had her party yesterday at the ITAM club sooooooooooo many people!!  She deserves that and so much more!!  Isnt she just beautiful????

Its graduation time.......yesterday was her party and today is my cousin Nicks party and next weekend is my other cousin Bryan party.  Not to mention my son will be turning 17 on Tuesday!  SO yeah bottom line is Kelly is broke!! ha ha

Well its time to go get ready for another party so you all enjoy the rest of the weekend!!!

Wow where has the time gone????  I really try to stay on top of this journal but the days just disappear! Well its better than never I guess.  I guess I am to caught up in myspace these days.

Last week my sister and I had our pocketbook dem.  We had a HUGE turnout!!  The lady sold close to 3000.00 in stuff.  They had bags, everything from tiny one to diaper bags, umbrellas, jewelry,wallets, scarfs.  It was incredible.  Some of my friends were late and they STILL had a huge selection when they got there.  You know what they say "better late than never" So thank you to everyone who came. 3 people booked off of us and I plan on going to even more now! I got a really cute prada bag with matching wallet and some jewelry and a Kate Spade bag. It was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We started up the Friday night cook outs at my sisters house. After Brianna went off to the prom  (pictures above) we cooked on the grill at my sisters.  Then my sister and sister in law and I worked on Briannas centerpieces.  Speaking of Brianna today was her very last day of high school!!!!  AMAZING!!!!  My little niece is all grown up as you can see from the pictures above.  Isn't she just beautiful!?!?!

Saturday night Dave, Angie, Marc, Gerry and Heidi came over for a little get together.  Chris cooked on the grill and we had a nice fire in the backyard.  We drank and chatted and had a really great time!!  Everyone but Dave and Angie spent the night so no one would drive drunk.  Very responsible of us dontcha say!!??

Sunday morning (Mothers Day) my sister, my Mom and I went to the jewelry expo in Marlborough.  My husband bought me a new ring, two toe rings, a watch and a sandal clock for my key chain and some costume jewelry.  My son bought me a beautiful infinity necklace and charm from Kays Jewelers!!  It is beautiful!!

We ended Mothers Day at my moms house and my Dad bought us all Chinese food which was yummy.  I have not had Chinese food in sooooooooooooo long!

Simmi and I took that legs and abs class last week.  We literally could not walk normal for 5 days.  We have decided to switch up our workouts and do this class which is offered on Tuesday night and Sunday morning.

I skipped the gym tonight because I twisted my knee at work today getting one of my clients into a wheelchair.  Nothing to bad but I can feel it ache and I figured the gym would definitely aggravate it.

Chris has finally taken some time off from work........he has been golfing like every day!  nice to see him take some time for himself.  He works so hard all the time he deserves a nice break!  Its nice having him home too!!!!

Well I am off to watch American Idol and pray that my Blake does not get sent home!

Good thing that I love my job because this weekend flew by!!!!!!!

 

 

Saturday was Matts prom night as you can see by the pictures above......he looked BEYOND handsome!  He looked so much older than he is.  His date looked really pretty.  Its not his girlfriend, just a friend but they made a great couple.  I'm sure his girlfriend wouldn't think so. ha ha  After Matt was on his way to the prom and I took about 9000 pictures I went over to my brothers house to help my sister in law with some stuff for Briannas graduation party.  I still can't get over the fact she is graduating.  Blows my mind!  So proud of her!!

Saturday night I came home to my husband making one of my favorites, strombolis!!  Mmmmm He is just way too good to me!

Sunday I woke up and went to the gym in the AM and then did a little shopping.....went to my parents for dinner and then took my Mom shopping to buy her her Mothers Day present.  We went to the Millbury Mall, I love that place!! Then we were really bad and got ice cream at Coldstone!!  But it was sooooooo good!

Which leads us to today!  I worked and then after work, yup you guessed it back to the Millbury Mall because Chris gave me money for Mothers Day to buy some clothes so I went to Old Navy and spent it all!  THANKS HONEY!!  Then I got my nails done.  Matt was at work and Chris went golfing so i had to find things to do!  I ended the night at the gym.  Tomorrow night Simmi and I are taking a legs and abs class which has a reputation to kick ass!!  So Wednesday could possibly bea tough day!

Oh man what a week is right!!!!!! On Wednesday Matt called me at 10 AM telling me that his school was on lockdown and he had no idea why, all he knew was they were looking for 3 kids!!  So I am a 1/2 hour away and know nothing!!  I log onto the Worcester T&G website and see "breaking news" Worcester Tech in lockdown due to a Virginia Tech like threat! So my stress level was pretty intense!  I called the school but got no answer!!! So after the kids being on lockdown for almost 4 hours it was lifted and they were all released.  2 kids have since been arrested! Then on Thursday about 4 pm I am sitting at my desk and I hear the disaster signal go off at work.  I look out the window and I see all kinds of people running towards Marian moore Hall (building in which residents live in) Fire trucks are arriving and then my boss yells up stairs "everyone report to Marian moore hall for complete evacuation" So basically everyone on gounds was at this building including administration and staff from other units being sent over.  The clients were taken outside everyone was carrying oxygen and blankets etc etc. There was an electrical fire on the bottom floor. It was put out and all the residents were safely returned in the building.  It was pretty intense.

Thursday night Michele took me to Piccolos for my birthday present!!! Yes better late than never ha ha  We had the Del Mondo salad and it was beyond delicious!!!  Her fiance is the chef there and he gave us some yummy desserts too.  Good thing we had salads ha ha THANKS MICHELE!!!!

I had all intentions of going to the gym with her tonight but I woke up nauseaus and having issues that I need not to get specific about.  Once that went away I had a freakin migraine.  I think that was because I didnt have coffee.  So at 5 pm I had some coffee and took some headaches pills and between the both of them I feel better!

Matt went to pick up his tux tonight and he tried the whole thing on and looked sooooooo cute!!  Here is a pic but I will post much more after the prom because he is actually letting me go to Ashleys house to see them together!!!

My husband worked hard in the yard today due to the nice weather!!  He even got to golf this week! He also cooked a nice meal tonight like usual!  He spoils me.

Ok well I am gonna end it here....I need to go look for hair styles on line because I am going to the salon in the morning to get my hair done and I wanna get something different!!  So stay tuned!
