Well it was almost a perfect weekend.

My alma mater, Carroll High School won the State divisional playoff game on Friday.

Ohio State crushed Michigan on Saturday.

and on Sunday, the Bengals had great things going through half time.

Then reality and the Steelers defense set in. I can't blame the Bengals defense.

7 sacks, 1 forced turnover and only 10 points allowed. I can't fault Carson. Even after the interception returned for a TD, Cincinnati was still up 14-10. But what I can fault if the offensive coaching staff and their lack of creativity and adjustments. With no offense to speak of in the second half, Dick LeBeau schooled Steve Bartowski with half time adjustments and pressure defense. As I have said before, the key to a Bengals victory is to STRETCH the field and run Rudi run.

In the second half they did neither and the 2 game winning streak is over.

Well next week is Cleveland and Marvin has lit a fire under the oragization's backside.
