Man, been sometime since I have gotten a blog out there. I have been extremely busy with things, so I apologize to my troves of readers who have been anxiously awaiting a new entry from me. This will be a quick recap of things I have been up to as well as my ramblings on the sports world.

1) Christmas was great. I got some new clubs for my awful golf game as well as a vacation in January that I am excited to get going on. I also got a Chad Johnson jersey. Now I love the Bears, but how can one not love Chad and what he brings to the game?

2) Speaking of those Bears.. NFC North champs and a first-round bye! I remember this in 2001 when the Eagles came and waxed us, but I have a feeling this season is different.

3) F Johnny Damon, no seriously. F that dude. Why do the Yankees insist on wasting large sums of money year after year on aging stars? Damon gets a four-year deal? Come on Cashman.. what the hell are you thinking? Jeremy Reed was available and young. I would have loved Juan Pierre. That dude is lightning quick and thats what we need at the top of the lineup, not some Neanderthal looking douche.

4) We over at SBL are blasting ourYear-End show. the Best of 2005 and it's some damn good stuff. Artest dropping rhymes, Clemens trying to be a Yankee for life (You are not welcome dick!) as well as a host of others. We are also giving away a host of prizes that you can win by clicking on these words! Cool stuff and it's for FREE!!! Nothing is free, not even that VD that you got in Tijuana.. cause we all know you paid top dollar for that tranny! (This is directed towards no one in general)

5) While on vacation a few weeks ago, a buddy of mine had a themed xmas party. 80's Aspen Ski Lodge party. I found some amazing costume for like $20 and my boys and I got dressed up. It was bring your own Christmas mug, so a buddy of mine and I brought Xmas buckets (the gallon kind) and decorated them. Drinking Captain and Coke out of them might not have been the best idea, according to my girlfriend at least.... I have long been a fan of theme parties and have been known to go all out... check for yourself...

The first pic is my buddy and I in some terrible 80'sgear(no not a gay pride sweater either!), the second... our footwear... like out of Dumb and Dumber... we got mad props for the shoes...

That about wraps up my spin on what has been going on.. hopefully I'll be posting about a Bears trip to the Super Bowl and the Yankees bringing back Mickey Rivers to play centerfield for when Damon breaks an ankle or runs into a wall.

P.S. -- I owe some respect to the Brothers Mottram for calling the Skins' success and gearing towards the playoffs.. Now I hope that Philly kicks the snot out of them and they miss the playoffs. That plus Jamie (yes, I am 25, and no, I am not really a thug gangsta, even if I grew up in the mean streets of the N-E-W) losing a mustache bet would kick 2006 off to a beautiful start.
