My Mourning Is Over

I haven't posted to this blog in over a week. I couldn't. I have been in mourning over the death of good. The death of what is right in America. OK, maybe I'm exaggerating, but I took the Bears' loss in Super Bowl XLI pretty hard. Seriously ...

I would much rather have spent a evening with this herpes infested duo then have to see crap like this ever again:

This makes me want to vomit more somehow.

After 4 beers in about 30 minutes, a Devin Hester returned kick, and a Manning pick and I was on cloud 9. The it all came crashing down. Rex Grossman, who I had supported all season, quickly became the anti-Christ.

I had about 15 friends over for the game, and they left promptly when the game ended. They knew I wasn't too happy at all. But that's all in the past. The game is over, the NFL Draft is coming closer and their are high hopes for next season.

And yes, I still think Rex should be starting next season, not someone else. He was basically a rookie. He is 26. The line will get some help via the draft and Sexual Rex can take some time to get over his numerous mistakes and concentrate on a big year in 2007. As long as he can cut down on those damn turnovers, then there is no reason that the Bears can't be in Phoenix next season.
