I did it today. Cut the cord with AOL and became an official road runner person. No longer an AOL journaler, no longer having to deal with the incompetence of AOL. Jimmy in the help department, wanted to know why? I couldn't begin to tell him all the reasons. But I did manage to tell him that I did not appreciate paying for space, and AOL renting that same space out from under me. He said he hadn't heard of any of it, but he's sorry that I felt the need to leave.
But... It is now official...
this Auntie has left the building!
