Hearing TV in the background Well hello, sorry I didnt write the next day like I said I would, but Hey I`m here now. Thanks for the comments on my new venture. I think it will take me a while to be able to write anything interesting but I promise I`ll try.....The title above is as it says, isnt it always the way when at last you find time to sit in the garden to chill out you find yourself doing exactly that and ending up freezing ! That happened this afternoon when the two kids and their respective partners decided to descend on us unannounced. After about 5mins of their arrival the sky blackened and the heavens threatened to open and the temperature plummeted  to almost freezing point....ok.. I exaggerate a little, but it was pretty cold! So off we all trouped indoors and a good afternoon was had by all. Also, isn`t it always the way, girls, when we go shopping with no money we always see something we love, but when we need an outfit can we find anything we like ? In our size ? Colour ?.....Never ! The same thing applies after paying more for something than perhaps you can afford, you see it for half price in the sale a week later, Grrrr ! Anyway you get the picture. Well thats the lesson for today. I`ll be back with something mildly amusing in the next couple of days but for now I`m off for a cuppa and some serious chillin` out in front of the TV....Goodnighty...........

Hearing Peace and Qiuet

As this is my first entry I shall have to think hard as what to write. The above photo was taken on Christmas Day 2003. Me and hubby Jim were messing about with the digital camera and taking the pics while the camera was on automatic. This one was one of the better ones taken that day.  In this journal I will try to find some interesting and possibly funny tales to tell and hopefully I will find some comments on my scribbles and perhaps my trials and tribulations as a middle-aged housewife/part time postperson will be of some interest to others. Anyway I will try my best and I`ll be back another day when I feel I have something good to write about. Bye for now.............
