An update on my week and baby Evan!
Sorry for the delay in my response on my journal but I have been very busy this past week. First let me say that Baby Evan Michael is finally here! He is so adorable and so tiny. He is only 6lbs 6oz and 20 inches long. He's a little boy. I took pictures of him but I have been packing all of my stuff so I packed up my USB cable for my digital camera and now I can't download the pics but my hubby is going to the store to pick up an extra one so maybe by tomorrow I will have all the pictures up. Cross fingers. I just spoke with her yesterday and I asked her how is motherhood going for her and she sounds so tired. She says he has been waking up every 20-40 minutes and she doesn't know why. So of course I told her my tricks of the trade and lets see if that works for her. Hopefully because I know it is hard the first couple of months.
I remember when Chris was born we would wake up every two hours to feed then he would go back to sleep then by the time he was 3 months or 4 months he would sleep through the night. Which was so surprising to me. I lucked out with him. He was such a good baby now on the other hand Cayla when she was born she would wake up every 40 minutes and about 2 months ago she finally is sleeping through the night. So I feel for Arlene and Todd through this initiation into parenthood.
The second thing that has been keeping me busy is my house it is finally finished. So I have been packing up everything and slowly moving everything out. We will be officially in our house on March 23rd. woohooo!!! Finally it's been two years since we started this project and it's finally done. I'm so excited because I will finally have a place to put my stuff and not have to keep everything packed and take out stuff gradually. I will finally have my own dresser again and my own closet again!!!!! I never knew how important a dresser and closet were until I moved out and realized how much I took advantage of them.
Other big news is that Cayla has her first tooth!!! I seen it last tuesday but it was just a little speck of white so I didn't think anything of it since we always have false alarms on her teeth. But finally it poked all the way through yesterday. She looks so cute with just one tooth. I have to put a picture of her also if she will let me. She is so picky about that tooth now she doesn't let anyone see it or even let me put teething medicine on it. So we will see about that picture. She also is standing up along the couches. She is growing so fast. I remember when she first rolled over and I thought that was a big thing but now she is standing. My baby is growing up sniff sniff.
So many updates for me to write about that happened in one week. Wow! Chris flew his first kite last thursday and he looked so happy doing it. He just had the biggest smile. He so cute. It didn't fly that high but he satisfied my Chris. He ran back and forth through the park flying it and yelling Look at me Momma. Look at me! He was so proud of himself. But now I have to go an dbuy him a new kite since he flew his into a tree and split it in half. He was so sad when he saw it but I will get him a new one. My Chris is getting so big now also. All of my babies are growing up. sniff sniff. Why can't they stay little forever. That would be okay with me but I know they must grow up someday.
Well that was my week wow what a week that was. So many exciting news to talk about and there will be plenty more and pictures as well. Hope everyone has a lovely week.

aWW..congrats on the baby Evan! I like that name!
Miah is also walking along the couches and wall! And her 3rd and 4th teeth are coming thru and she is not a happy camper!! lol

Congratulations on the arrival of Baby Evan! My baby sister is going to be two at the end of April and she still doesn't sleep through the night. Some babies are just like that. Some (like your Chris) are sleepers. My parents woke me up to feed me at first because I slept too much. Kinda like they have to do now. LOL I'd even sleep through the vaccum! Yay on the house! Hopefully it'll be all you want and more!
