Feeling Quiet
This little bird reminds me of my Petey...I had him when I was about 12......I've never had a bird since. Maybe that's what I need....
I'm not going to do any complaints or sad news today..I will say that I have gotten an attorney......
I had a good day at work..I am tired though..It is such a large complex. I talk to so many people throughout the day. And do you know, I still have not heard one bad thing about working there. It is just a pleasure to work with people that enjoy their jobs. I had a few of the Sisters come up to me to say that they would like to give me a little gift of appreciation, but it is against the rules to do that. I told them not to worry about it. Just being a part of a great community like that is enough for me..And I mean that.
I was going to get some more Christmas shopping done tonight after work, but my check didn't arrive..At first, I felt really frustrated because I want to finish things up..But then I thought about it..and I know I couldn't change it..So,,,,,I decided not to worry about it..If I have to, I will go shopping tomorrow night. Believe me, I do not want to go shopping during the day..lol. I figure anytime after 8:00pm should be good..
Tonight I made some more of my cookie dough. I will give some of it to my daughter. Tomorrow my grandaughter is coming over for us to watch "It's a wonderful life". I think we will also spend some time making cookies and maybe some candy..My Mom always made the candy...so time for me to take over for her...if I can find the time and energy...ha-ha...
Well, it's getting late and I am tired. So, I will bid you good-night and sweet dreams..
I am sending out Prayers to all that need them. Keeping you in my thoughts.

When I was first married I had a parakeet that looked like that. His name was Pretty Boy. I thought him to say a few words and to wolf whistle. At times I have thought of getting another but then I have a cat. So glad you are enjoying your new job. Paula

What a pretty bird. I had a canary in the first grade. Isn't that wonderful Sheri that with prayer and giving God His will you got that job. Amazing and so glad that you like it so much. Really happy for you. I went to the mall today just to run in and get one thing.. when I got ready to leave at 2 p.m. the parking lot and streets were so full I could not get out. A nice lady let me cut in front of her. That was a blessing or I would have been sitting there at least 20 or 30 minutes. That is really good spending time with your grand-daughter; that is what she will remember... spending time with grandma; even more than the things you buy her. Time is precious in this day of age. Very fast paced world. Thank you so much Sheri for the prayers for my friend and her family. You are also in mine. God Bless and I am hoping it is not too hectic for you when you go buy your last gifts. Janie
