Rams All the Way!!

Ugh! I am so pissed. I cannot beleive that the Rams lost this week to the Seattle Seahawks 37-31. It is just something that has been plaguing me and I am afraid now that Rams will start to fade. Don't get me wrong, that's not what I want to happen but I think that it might happen. Okay lets dive right in to the top story:

Well it looks like Mike Martz is going to be out for a couple of weeks. This is due to health problems. The team and Martz have agreed to make the interim coach Joe Vitt. This makes things much worse for my Rams. Now they will have to rise up to the occasion and make an emotional run. Don't laugh at me but I think the Rams have taken over as America's team. Yeah now with Martz gone, its time for the emotional run that will lift up the country.

Now on to the actual game. Marc Bulger did much better this week throwing 26 completions in 40 attempts. He threw for over 330 yards. That's excellent. Torry Holt came up BIG this week getting 8 receptions for 126 yars, that's excellent. Kevin Curtis did well catching 6 balls for 63 yards. They did well in the passing game this week, gotta give that to them.

Now to the Running game: Stephen Jackson did much better this week. He got 77 yards this week. That's yep you guessed it: excellent in 17 attempts. I'll tell you one thing, their offense was the strongest its been all year, they tied their most points per game this season with 31. Great Job.

Now on to something I havn't talked about this season. Our defense. We did good, Tinoisamoa and Furrey had 7 tackles each we had a couple of sacks but overall, our defense is the worsed its been during the new millenium. I think that the whole team has to do good. The offense made it's best performence of the season this week but we still lost, everybody has to do good. It's obvious and we better show it on Monday night next week. Obviously the biggest matchup of the year for us against the Colts.

  Now that Mike Martz is gone (my prayers are with him for a full recovery) I hope he stays gone.  Offense sells tickets but Defense wins championships.  Under Martz the game is too complicated even on defense.  Week 5 and you are still blowing coverage after coverage.  Hopefully Joe Vitt will cut 1/3 of the playbook out and simplify the play calling.  This team has way too much talent to be 2-3.  Run the ball, short underneath routes and then take the occational deep shot.  Marc can not sit back there for an hour waiting for the deep route, that why he is being hit so much.  And will the special please make a play...  I swear I liked it better when we sucked because you never had any high expectations.  Now I go into every weekend expecting a win.  Were is Chis oops I mean Jim Everett when you need him.

  giving up 37 points is by no stretch, good or even fair. U can't give up 37 points and as a whole do well

  The Saints are America's team for the whole entire season, that was an assinine comment. NO one even cares about the Rams besides the fans and no one like Martz, the Jets have more of a chance (no chance) of talking the Saints Spot as America's team as anyone, but that's impossible. That was just an all in all dumb comment.
