Hot-dog or Shrek is on my roof

I knew that subject line would catch your attention!

Hot-dog is actually the name of one of our neighborhood "pets." He appeared here when I first started this photo journal when he fell in love with the unicorn. But that's a whole 'nother story. He really did have a major attraction to that unicorn -- freak! LOL!

Anyway, Hot-dog is the name he uses in the neighborhood...

 

 

Before we knew he was known as Hot-dog we called him Stretch. My youngest son always got confused and called him Shrek (it was around the time the movie Shrek came out). The day he came running in telling me Shrek was outside and wanted to eat really threw me -- All I could think was that there was a big green ogre in my backyard!

Both Hot-dog and Stretch are good names for him. When he comes around and is hungry, he stands outside the patio door and stretches his neck trying to look inside. He also appears anytime we are grilling, his favorite food, you guessed it, hot-dogs.

Anyway, that's the story but had nothing to do with what I came here for. This was supposed to be your official reminder for the A-Z Photo Challenge.
