Meet my Pets
Happy Birthday, Dad
October 8, 1929
I will always love you!
I wasn’t sure what to write about tonight. So, I decided to write about my pets! I haven’t told you about them yet. Most of the pictures we have are of our cat, Peanut and our small dog, Maggie. Why you might ask? Well, those are Bo’s 2 favorites. LOL Not mine though. I love all of my pets.
First, I will start with Peanut. He is one of our cats. He gets lots of pictures taken of him because he is a real ham and loves to be photographed…as you can tell by the pics of him! He always has his rear leg hanging down or out. Its so funny to see. He is a riot and loves boxes. He will open a box up (Bo brings boxes home from work that have lids) and then get in and let the lid fall down on top and be shut inside and make noises until we find him. This morning he got in a box and made sure the lid shut down on him and then scooted it across the kitchen floor. I wasn’t sure what was going on until he got across the kitchen and popped his head out.
Next, is our little dog, Maggie. She is a cross of Dachshund and Chihuahua. A friend of Willy’s was moving a couple of years ago and asked if we wanted her. Of course we said yes. I would never, ever get rid of her. She is 4 years old now and I can never imagine how anyone could get rid of her. She loves me more than anyone else and the kids get so jealous. She sits with me wherever I sit and when we go in the car she runs to the door and I take her most of the time. And then once in the car she sits on my lap and looks out the window. I can’t help it if she likes me the most LOL.
Next we have Lady who we named after Lady and the Tramp because when she was a puppy she looked a lot like Lady in the movie. We got her when she was just a puppy from the humane society. She is so pretty. We gave her a hair cut this summer for the first time and I think we will start doing that every summer.
Kitty Kat is our biggest dog. He’s a mix breed. We got him when he was 5 weeks old. He moved here when Bo did. Right before we started driving cross country in the U-Haul we went to say goodbye to a friend of Bo’s. Their lab had just had pups a few weeks prior and I fell in love with them. Even though the pups were only 5 weeks old we took one and I bottle fed him on our trip cross country. Bo had always wanted a dog named Kitty Kat so that’s how he got his name. It’s rather funny to be calling such a bug dog that but he knows his name!
We have a couple more cats. One is Zorro and I named her that because she has a mask that makes her look like Zorro. The other we got last year as a stray. He was abandoned and Bo being thesofty he is, wanted to keep him. So, Bo named him Professor Kitty. He’s a big, loveable, dumb old cat. He loves Bo the most of any of us. Is favorite place to lay is right on Bo’s lap top keyboard. It’s so funny to see him sprawled out on top of it.
All of the animals except for Professor Kitty, like me the most. I think its because I am home with them all the time, I feed them and I am the nicest to all of them. And the kids can’t figure out why they all prefer me!
Well, I guess that’s all of our animals. Hope you like the pictures of them!
I had a few inquires about the TIVO. Bo discovered why the people gave it to the Goodwill. It seems the hard drive in it was dying. But, Bo being the fix it guy he is, tore it apart and put a new hard drive in it and now it works like brand new!
Have a great weekend everyone...

Does Peanut ever EAT from the fish bowl? I had a doxy/chihuahua mix...her name was Teanutty. I had her for 12 years. She was my very first "child". I miss her! You have a houseful! And, full of love! Thanks for visiting me at my journal. Your comment was very nice! JAE

I LOVE going Thrift Store~ing! My best score/find was my picnic basket. I had been loking and looking for ome for ages. I wanted one of those old fashioned ons that had the flaps on each side that opened. I never could find one and was about to give up and buy a new picnic baskep that was like a wicker preif case shaped, just a bit bigger. Until I walk in this one thrift store that I usually dont go by too often. The first thing I see when I walk in is the exact picnic basket I have always wanted. It is dated from the 40's -50's maybe older and has a lift out bottom to store your dishes under. Looks just like the ones you see on old movies. It was marked 29.00 and it was half price day so I got it for half that and was tickled.
I havent been in awhile but now you have me wanting to go.
