Feeling Chillin'
Bo got the new job position!
I am still recovering from my weekend ordeal but am doing better. My mouth, throat and tongue are very sore though. I still can only eat soft foods so have been eating a lot of soup and vanilla milk shakes. I also popped a blood vessel in my eye during all this and so that hurts and looks terrible. I told Bo that I was going to tell people that he hit me with my red eye and swollen lip!
I have had many people ask about Bo and the new job at his work he applied for. He got the new position! We are so excited for this advancement. And it will be a nice salary increase also, which we really needed. He starts in his new position November 1st. He will have a new office and new boss. He says he will miss his current office since his new one won’t be quite as big but he can live with that. (I’d work from a closet if it meant a nice, fat raise!)
The weather here is really cold and rainy the past several days. By the looks of it outside today, we will be having snow before we know it. That’s ok though. I love snow!
I went to see my primary doctor Tuesday and since they had to squeeze me in the appt was a really short one. He had me reschedule a longer one in 2 weeks to talk about all the different meds I am on. I was rather disappointed that I wasn’t able to ask him some of the questions I had since he was in such a hurry though. I miss the nice long visits we used to have with him, but now that he has gotten so well known and liked he has too many patients and has lost that personal touch. It really upsets me. I don’t want to change doctors but may have to since I need a doctor that has time to deal with all my health problems.
Debbie (derasta) is thinking about starting a community recipe journal and I think it is a wonderful idea. I have many recipes I can give to her to add. So, be thinking of recipes that you can send to Debbie. This can be a lot of fun for us all.
Saturday is the Homecoming Dance for the boys high school. Willy is nominated for Freshman Prince and is all excited about it. Saturday I need to take them both shopping to get them some new slacks and dress shirts and ties. And then pick up the girls corsages also. With 2 of them its going to be a spendy evening. The tickets are $20 a couple and then there will be pictures. It makes my head spin thinking of all the money it’s going to cost me!
Earlier I had lots of things I was going to write about in my journal today but now that I sit here to do it I can’t think of what they were! So, I guess I will end this entry for today. I hope everyone has a nice evening.

Please continue to take good care of you. I know you have some different things going on with the dance and all, but if you neglect your health, you'll be right back in the hospital, and I know you don't want that.
A big congrats on your husband's promotion, that's wonderful. I know you're very excited. It's a real shame about your doctor. I know how awful it is when they don't make the time that you need them to. I would attempt to write a letter to your doctor about this first, and if he doesn't make any changes, then find another doctor. I think he will accommodate you though, because no doctor likes to lose a patient (literally or figuratively)
I am looking forward to Debbie's cookbook too. I think it'll be wonderful. I know what it's like to sit down with things to write about, but nothing comes out. Happens to me quite a bit. Please take care. I'm worried about you. Love, Anna -
I am glad that you are back and returning to normal! I am HAPPY that Bo got the job! Whoop!! Thank you for all the nice comments that you leave me!
