Frosty Mornings...
A couple of years ago a guy we know came over and had the coolest lighter. I had seen butane lighters before but this one had a green flame
and no wind would blow the thing out! That is one problem I have is lighting a cigarette when it’s windy out. Anyway I asked him where he got it and he told me at the gas station. I went out and bought one. That lighter lasted me for 2 years! I finally had to throw it away and break down and buy a new one. I bought the new one about 3 weeks ago. And ever since I bought it I have been having problems with it. It would make me so mad since the first one lasted for such a long time with no problems ever. Bo looked at it the other night and told me that for some reason it was leaking and that’s why every time I went to light it…it appeared to be out of fuel. Last night I went out and spent another $6.99 and bought another one. I sure hope this one is as good as my original one. Even a hurricane couldn’t blow these things out.
It has been getting so cold here. The past several mornings we have woken up to frost. I think it will be a very early winter this year and most likely a lot of snow. I love the snow. I have traction control and studded tires on my car and it will go through pretty much anything in the winter.
My sister called yesterday and wanted to know if we had made any plans for Thanksgiving
yet and I told her no. She then told me that she would like to have our family (my family, her family, my other sister’s family and our mom) up to their cabin at Priest Lake this year for the holiday. We would go up on Thursday morning and spend the night and come home on Friday afternoon. I told her that we would love to do this. It sounds like a lot of fun. I remember 4 years ago Bo and I flew back to CT for Thanksgiving and had the best time. Bo took me all over the place when we went that time. We drove up to Rhode Island and walked along the beaches, we went to the Yankee Candle Factory in
Massachusetts, and the highlight for me was taking the train into NYC. All I can say is WOW! A farm girl going into the big city was amazing to say the least. But, I was so happy to leave at the end of the day. It was fun to visit but I could never, ever live in such a busy, loud, obnoxious place! The people were so rude. I am not used to that at all. Give me the small town any day!
I am taking my youngest, Willy to the doctor this morning. He hurt his foot in football a few weeks ago and it's not getting any better. So I decided that I need to take him to get it x-rayed.
Well, I guess that’s all for now. I hope everyone has a great day!

It's been really cold here too! Right now I have my sweat shirt on to keep warm. I wish I could find a lighter like that, with a green flame! I've had so much to do today this is the first time i'm sitting to take a break and I'm almost tempted to go lay down, I have a slight headache...ok i'm sure you don't want to read about my aches and pains in your journal comment section! haahahhhaha love you!!
