Pumpkin Bread

Happy | Listening to American Idol

 Pumpkin Bread
From the Kitchen of Linda Snyder

1 Cup Pumpkin
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
2 Tablespoons Water
1 3/4 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 Teaspoon Allspice

Optional - 1/2 Cup plumped* Raisins

Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Pour into a well greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

This bread is so good!! My kids love it.

* To plump raisins place them into small pan of boiling water for about 5-7 minutes. Drain.

HI Linny! I am looking for a good chicken pot pie recipe. I love the ones at Costco but they are like $15.00 a pop and I really would like to make my own at home. Have you a good recipe for one? Let me know when you can. Thanks!
