When life gives you lemons.... make limeade ; )

Rita {who's 5} is lenny's {9 month old} sister. yesterday its was R's turn to act up.

well..not just yesterday actually this as been going on since she's been here. I just had enough of it yesterday.

As I  getting ready for lunch she comes in saying with a very demanding voice "I WANT LUNCH NOW!!"..... I in return using the same voice say "go over there and when I get lunch ready YOU will know! {over there was the toy room}. she gave a hurt look and left. I thought " now that was not nice" so I went over to say I was sorry to her and tell that the right way to ask was to use nice words and please .

then later on we {Rita,Ryan and I } were playing playdoh when she reached over and grabbed mine, telling me that she wanted it. I took it back and told her no and Ryan walked away telling her that he was not playing with her if she was not going to be nice.

  Patty, I think those children are very fortunate to have you take care of them.  It takes so much patience and care to watch little ones.  Learning to treat others in the right way is an extremely important lesson, and you are doing a great job.
