Well, I think I am back on track an already reaping the results. I am down to 153.5 this morning which takes me off the yoyo I have been riding these past few weeks. I needed to recommit myself to success and not let outside factors inhibit my program. My new goal is to reach 150 which will put me 10 pounds from my final weight loss goal.

I think I have seen your plan on TV. So many on TV do not work. Makes people affraid to try others. I just lost 25 pounds. I would like to lose about 8-10 more but stuck. No way I am eating less. I exercise a lot so... But check out my journal if you have time. Thanx D

Hi,
I started my diet towards the end of January, and as promised I lost at least 2 pounds a week. However in the past month, I have had some family and menopausal issues to deal with that threw me off. I have stuck to the 3 hour eating plan since my body now craves something to eat on that schedule.
If I had followed the diet completely this past month and eaten the correct portions and selections as Jorge outlined in his book, I probably would be down to my goal weight by now. However, the last 10-15 are always the hardest to lose and with the personal problems I have been dealing with lately, I am glad to still be maintaining my weight loss thus far. I am still losing weight but not as quickly, but that is my choice for now until my life settles down.
Note that I am 52 years old, weighed 170 when I began and want to get down to 140. This morning I weighed 153 which is pretty good. Others that I know who had more weight to lose have lost more than I have, but I think that is proportionate with what you need to lose.
Jorge's program is very easy to follow and is pretty easy lifestyle change. Let's face it, we need to make a commitment to healthy eating for life if we ever expect to keep our weight down. Jorge's program does not make you give up your cravings and fun foods, so I can live with it.
Good luck! -
Way to go! I'm thinking of starting the 3-hour diet but I need to look into it more. When did you start the diet and how much have you lost so far?
