Mt St Helens

Mt St Helen's is particularly pretty today.  The skies are somewhat clear and there's lots of snow and yes the mountain is throwing off steam.  Will it blow again someday?

I hope it doesn't blow anytime soon for the sake of those living near.  It is fascinating to watch them erupt though (only in documentaries of course!).
I guess it's just like living next to two nuke plants, you just don't dwell on it.

I was living in southern Alberta the last time it blew.  Our home was covered in ash and we felt the earth shake.  Scary times!!
