WISH COULD HAVE HAD THE TALENT FOR MUSIC.
DURING TEENAGE YEARS, MODEL-Ts WERE PREVALENT AND ROAD CONDITIONS REQUIRED SLOW SPEEDS, ACTUALLY DID NOT QUALIFY FOR BEING CALLED SPEED.
TOPS FOLDED DOWN, ON THE WAY TO TOWN, STATE HIGHWAY ALTHOUGH WAS ROUGH DIRT AND GRAVEL ROAD.
A SONG COULD HAVE BEEN WRITTEN ABOUT THE MODEL-Ts MEETING ALONG THE ROAD.
I EVEN THOUGHT UP THE OPENING LINES TO A SONG THAT WOULD HAVE WENT SOMETHING LIKE THIS :
I WAS LOOKING BACK TO SEE IF SHE WAS LOOKING BACK AT ME.
IT WAS EASY TO LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT THAT BEAUTIFUL YOUNG GIRL, BRIGHT EYES AND HAIR BLOWING IN THE WIND, SO NEAR AND YET SO FAR, THAT MOMENT OF THE OLD CARS PASSING ON THE NARROW ROAD.
SO LONG AGO, THOUGH HAVE WISHED TO HAVE HAD THE TALENT TO HAVE WRITTEN AND FINISHED THE SONG AND MAYBE HAVE BOB WILLS SING IT ON

Hi Nat- too many songs to list! I love lots of differnt things like you do. I guess if I had to choose, 1- I'll Fly Away is my fav. Christian song hymn, Handel's Messiah or Beethoven's Hallelujia Chorus tie for fav. Classical, anything from the Beetles' side 2 of Abbey Road or anything Pink Floyd, Lynyrd Skynyrd or Allman Bros. for fav. Rock n roll, anything by Johnny Cash, Charlie Daniels, Hank JR, George Strait, Alan Jackson, Randy Travis or George Jones for fav. Country tunes! Would that cover it?! Thanks Nat- that was fun! God Bless you! Now you know even more about me huh! Carolyn :)

For the past twenty years, I'd have to say I love U2 music... but generally, I love Christian Rock, Soft Rock, Rock n Roll, Classical, and music arranged with elements of Native Tribes (whether American Indian, Australian, or African). Drums will get me every time. I loved Harry Chapin's ballads of lonely and suffering love, and his passion for feeding the world's hungry. Bee Gee's are always at the top of my list. And my first love, Neil Diamond. However, that said, lately I don't listen to music much. It interferes with my peace, it interferes with my thinking. When I was younger, I thought better with music, I could study with music playing, and now it's the other way around. I need the silence. Music is welcome from time to time, but at the beginning and end of the day, I crave the silence. For mental stability! bea
