As long as the games are teaching appropriate use of credit cards and not encouraging kids to live above their means. I save all the fake credit cards I get in the mail. Plan on using them for a behavior management strategy. Kids get the cards with their names on them. They can earn points on them, and lose points as well. At end of month or grading period, they can use credits to "buy" something in the classroom. It's all in my head... I haven't implemented it yet because now I don't have just twelve kids or even just 25 kids... I teach over 650!!! so I won't be doing this strategy myself anytime soon. bea

I had them in a fav game of mine growing up and it didn't cause problems.  It really just is a huge copout.  Sounds to me like parents and the like are again trying to scapegoat something instead of bothering to teach and model appropriate behaviors for their children.

Credit is a big problem here in this country. I don't think any child should have them. Not even in a game

Seems credit cards are EVERY where! If only learned to use properly & to only have a few, I guess they're ok.
Games, not sure how I feel.
